2. Select Your Mural Size
Our murals are sold in pre-sized panels to fit common wall heights (9ft or 10ft) and come insets of 2, 4, 6, 8, or 10 panels:
- Each panel is numbered at the top for easy left-to-right installation.
- Custom sizes are available upon request!

- Since murals are printed in dye lots, slight color variations can occur between different orders—so order everything at once!

Shipping: Packages are shipped daily. You will receive your tracking numbers at time of shipment and can track its status via the Shop app at any time. Note: Tracking is not provided for individual samples.
All Urbanwalls US orders are thoughtfully printed and shipped with care from Scottsdale, Arizona.

- Prepare the Surface: Ensure the walls are clean and dry. For smooth, flat walls, peel-and-stick is a great choice if you're looking for something removable. If you prefer a permanent solution, go with traditional wallpaper. For textured or rough surfaces, opt for textured wallpaper to ensure the design adheres properly.
- Plan Your Layout: Arrange panels in numerical order before starting. Lay out all panels before starting. Identify the top and bottom to align the panels correctly.
- Install Carefully: Start at the top left corner and apply panels vertically from left to right. Use a credit card or squeegee to smooth the wallpaper as you go.
- Trim to Fit: Use a precision tool, like an X-Acto knife, to trim excess wallpaper at edges or around outlets.

Cactus are my favorite plants in the world.....so when I was looking for something I could do on a plain main wall in my bedroom and found this 18-piece decal set.....I was in heaven. The videos were a very accurate representation for how to prepare and work with the pieces.....especially the larger ones. After I made the cut outs I did use painters tape to place them and look at them for a week before doing the final install. The colors and feel of these decals are so realistic and such a vibe. I've ordered a few 3D galvanized metal art pieces that are desert-related to place in some of the more open spaces which was always the plan. Everything about this company.....their product and my experience has been amazing. Can I install my mural upside down?
Yes, you can install your mural upside down. However, the panels must still connect correctly, so instead of installing panels 1-8, you would install them 8-1. It is highly recommended to lay the panels flat on the floor first and ensure the numbers align before applying them to the wall.
What's the difference between standard and textured vinyl?
What's the difference between standard and textured vinyl?
Standard adhesive vinyl is best suited for smooth, flat surfaces. It has a smooth and matte finish and is easily removable, so it won't damage the wall!
For textured surfaces, however, it's not recommended - instead opt for our textured adhesive vinyl. The stickier material is designed to adhere to bumpy and irregular surfaces without causing any damage. Plus, its canvas finish ensures that the texture of your wall won't show through the material.
To be certain, we suggest ordering one of our samples and testing it on the wall - this way, you can see which ones stick! Alternatively, if you'd like help from our team, just send us a picture of your wall and we'll be happy to provide assistance.

It's simple! Run your hand up and down your wall—does it feel completely smooth, or do you notice slight variations or bumpiness? If there's some unevenness, your walls are likely textured. Drywall is a classic example of a smooth surface, while plaster and stucco often have noticeable texture. If you live in the American Southwest, textured walls are especially common.
The best way to be sure is to order a sample of our products to test how they stick to your wall. You can also send us a photo of your wall, and we’ll be happy to help assess it for you!
We highly recommend testing a sample before committing to a full order. However, please note that sample decals are smaller, so their adhesion may vary slightly compared to large-scale designs.

We do not control our print supplier's ink hues and color changes, therefore, we cannot guarantee that our dye lot colors will be precisely the same as orders placed on different dates. It is especially important to keep this in mind when ordering samples before the full product, or if you find you need additional wallpaper panels at a later date. Slight color variations may occur in the same product purchased at different times. For this reason, we suggest you order extra rolls at the beginning of your project, these can be used for DIY's and other accent pieces if not needed in your overall design.
