UW Customer Service Representative & Storefront Manager

Job Brief
We’re looking for an enthusiastic new team member to inspire our customers to tap into their creativity! Acting as both a Customer Service Representative and Storefront Manager, the primary purpose of this role is to serve our customers and support our team (which will help our customers)! Our new team member would be expected to promptly respond to customers via email and maintain social media engagement by responding to direct messages on Facebook and Instagram.
The dual nature of this position also means that there are duties within our physical office and studio, not just online.  As our Storefront Manager, you are the front door of our company. You are not only the first interaction online, but the first smile customers will see in our shop!  From coordinating orders for pick-up to saying hello to our couriers and welcoming people at our new storefront, our Storefront Manager must have strong organizational skills and an even happier attitude. (We are a big fan of happy around here!)
  • Act as a customer service representative, handling customer inquiries primarily via email, phone, and social media interactions (Facebook and Instagram)
  • Welcome and assist storefront sales and customer walk-ins
  • Coordinate collaborations for social media via email
  • Manage wholesale relations with our UW retailers
  • Ship samples of our product to customers
  • Manage inventory for wholesale systems
  • Input weekly data to coordinate order shipment
  • Support office members with a variety of tasks on an as-needed basis
  • Oversee our Pinterest account (it might only be 15 minutes a day, but it’s a fun 15 minutes!)
  • Be a happy camper and willing to work with a connected team
  • Must live in the Fraser Valley area in order to be an office presence
  • Experience and expertise in a customer serving position
  • Warm and friendly, an excellent conversationalist (AKA: the perkiest person in all the land!)
  • Multitasking skills
  • Organized and able to prioritize a variety of tasks
  • Knowledge of social media, with past marketing or social media, experience a bonus
  • Cannot be afraid of making actual phone calls (c’mon, we know it’s a thing)
