The Perfect Day

If you ever asked me what my version of the “perfect day” would be, I would probably do a little recap of my last mommy’s day. I must admit that I haven’t always been a big fan of Mother’s Day for a few particular reasons but my boys took such good care of me and melted my heart once again. It was such a beautiful, sunny time spent with my fam jam and minimal whining from the kiddos. What more could I ask for?

It started with handpicked flowers from my M&M’s (and store-bought from the hubs)

then we took out our cruisers for a bike ride through Stanley Park

kids in tow (literally)

Before & After the bike ride

then off to some beach time and a yummy dinner

all ending with a gorgeous sunset and palm trees that I didn’t even know existed in Vancouver.

Yup, the perfect day!

It’s been about 4 months now since I got my very first grown up cell phone. Can you believe it? Your talking about the girl that walked around with a pager during high school – hardcore, right? For years I avoided it thinking it was going to be another thing that would take up my time and distract me. Well, it’s been over 4 months now since I opened up my fancy Christmas present and I can’t say how thankful I am to have one. I use it more for the camera then anything but I love the convenience of it and being able to capture all of the wonderful moments that have oftentimes passed me by. I am such a sucker for great prints and unique graphics so it’s obvious that I would make Vapor.Qualquer a new shop fave. The Indigo Baby

If you’re anything like me then you may struggle with last-minute-shopping-and-then-finding-nothing syndrome. It’s something that I just cant seem to shake. When I went to Indigo the other day however, I ended up walking into the kids area and saw the sweetest baby gifts. Why haven’t I seen these before? SO cute! Finally a one stop shop of cuteness for baby showers. I honestly loved everything that they had to offer.

How have I not talked about Pantone’s color of the year for 2012?? Tangerine Tango Pantone #17-1463. I have to admit that I haven’t always been the biggest fan of orange but it’s kind of grown on me being so bright and cheery. I think I might just have to make some space for it in my life.
